That’s my name. books are my ‘game’.
Welcome to my blog. A place to converse about God, and books, and writing, and authors, and more.
When I was a just teenager–13 or 14, I’d say–I began dabbling in the writing art. Mostly just as a hobby and a way of exhausting my imagination, I didn’t devote much of my time or concentration to the craft. I figured it was just a “stage” I’d outgrow.
But I didn’t. It persisted in being a troublesome source for me, seeing as I still had school and homework to get around, as well as household chores and church. But then it got serious.
Writing as more than a hobby started when I was around sixteen or seventeen. I wasn’t sure what to write about, and I wasn’t even certain how to proceed! There were so many details I had yet to learn–most of which came over the next several years.
I had much difficulty writing around my school work, home work and getting my chores done, as well as other activities that were fairly mandatory. A lot of it got pushed to the side for a time, but I eventually picked it back up again.
But another dilemma fazed me, as deciding on what name to write under has taken quite a bit of doing. I don’t even know if I’ll keep this one. But for now, it’ll do.
I’m endeavoring to write wholesome stories about people who fear (respect) God. Stories that will impact others. Maybe even influence them to change their lives for the better.
My creative side became even more apparent after experiencing serious health issues when I was 18. Afterward, I found that I have still more time I can devote to writing endeavors nowadays. And it feels even more important now!
I will admit to having certain difficulties in the last couple of years. But writing is still something I very much want to do. I feel it’s something I need to do, in fact.
